PARI partners define research priorities for mechanization

A week-long workshop brought together PARI partners for the first meeting of newly established research cluster on mechanization in Kenya. Researchers from Kenya, Nigeria, Mali, and Benin developed common research approaches to maximize policy-relevant lessons across countries and tested the research tools in the field. The overall aim is to identify agricultural mechanization pathways which are sustainable from economic, social and environmental perspectives. PARI Roundtable highlights innovation opportunities for agricultural growth in Malawi

At a national policy workshop organised by ZEF, FARA and DARS, high-level representatives from the public, private and non-governmental sectors gathered in Lilongwe on 11 July to discuss how innovations could spur development and job creation in Malawi’s agriculture sector.
