The 82nd “International Green Week” – a large exhibition of the food, agriculture and gardening industries – took place from 20th to 29th January in Berlin. PARI researchers from the University of Hohenheim presented their solar milk cooling system during the exhibition.
The BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development) hosted a special exhibition with a focus on the special initiative “One World, No Hunger” (SEWOH).
PARI researchers from the University of Hohenheim presented their work on the improvement of milk value chains through solar milk cooling during the Green Week. The project, implemented in Tunisia and Kenya, shows how solar milk cooling systems can improve the quality of milk, reduce spoilage during transport and ensure farmer income.
