The review addresses youth unemployment in Africa, particularly in Benin, focusing on identifying key youth employment initiatives between 2000 and 2018 in rural areas. Through literature analysis and interviews, eighteen initiatives were found, categorized by the International Labor Office. The top five initiatives, including the Agricultural Diversification Support Program and Youth Employment Project, were ranked by beneficiary reach. Recommendations target government action, urging labor market analysis, aligned training, and institutional reform to boost youth employment.
