The study was conducted in Kenya, in the Counties of Nairobi, Kiambu, Kisumu and Nakuru from 2nd to 16th April 2021 to assess the status, opportunities and challenges faced by local agricultural machinery manufacturers. The aim was to make recommendations on how to upgrade the sector and improve the use of agricultural mechanization technologies. Respondents included government ministries and departments, local agricultural manufacturers, and other relevant stakeholders.
